Japan 2025 Day 1 The Journey begins part 1

By the numbers

11.6 kilo bag

1 plane

11,051 steps

8.51kms

Lord of The Rings

Captain America movie

Issues: None really apart from my touchpad on the computer. Have a keyboard and mouse

Chaos level: Unicorns and Rainbows

I should say the show Torvil and Dean wasn’t something I expected as I thought it was just ice skating and that’s it. There were tricks and stunts, so it was worthy to go see and more involved.

My bag

The day started off really nice as the bed was warm and I was well rested for the journey ahead. Being near Brisbane airport means we can take our time. There was coffee and breakfast with a slight Google maps taking us on a journey just to get to the international departures. It was incorrect and we used our eyes to get there within minutes of leaving Maccas. This meant we were an hour early for check in, but I was happy. The airport is undergoing renovations for the future and the food court is no longer there. I ended up with a printed boarding pass and my bag label so I could sent off my bag when needed.

Braised Beef and Peppercorn

Once past security it wasn’t so bad, although I was feeling peckish, and even confirmed my booking where I was staying in Osaka. I would say everything is on track and hope it stays that way as time ticks away slowly before I board. At least I know what I will be fed too. The meals look interesting and I will post pics of what I have had. This tour will be something that I am not used to, a gourmand type trip away.

The flight over to Singapore wasn’t that bad at all, but the best part was I found my international roaming works, and so does my travel cards I use. Could just be a internet thing with international cards in Japan. Will soon find out. The selection of music and movies was good on the flight and no issues there. I did have a nap or three, but I am hoping to be more awake on landing in Japan. The meal was Braised Beef and Peppercorn, and it wasn’t too bad, although I eat just about anything.
